The sneaker game is cutthroat — good thing Coach isn't afraid to get down and dirty. Coming off of a major accessory hot streak thanks to viral "It" bags like the TikTok-famous Empire Carryall and the Bella Hadid-approved Brooklyn Shoulder 39 bag, Coach is now poised and primed to take over a new arena: sneakers.

Available in several colors, including black, blue, cream, and an off-white distressed iteration, Coach's all-new Soho sneaker is refreshingly humble. Its crisp silhouette is complimented by a sculpted "C" at the center, which works well within the less-is-more approach that’s informed Coach’s recent revival.

But don't underestimate the Soho sneaker's understated build. First debuted on the runway at Coach's Spring/Summer 2025 show, the Soho sneaker commands intrigue and offers a customizable edge for additional flair.

“We referenced the era of late ‘80s and early ‘90s sneakers," creative director Stuart Vevers tells Highsnobiety. "I like to think this style was created as a canvas meant to be reimagined through the lens of the wearer—every scuff, color and customization is a uniquely them. It embodies my belief that fashion is about self-expression and exploring all of who you.”

Coach's Soho sneaker does indeed have BRE (big retro energy), which makes it as timeless as it is timely.

The Soho is also the perfect sneaker for any directionally challenged New Yorkers out there, since its outsole is printed with a mini-map of Manhattan with a tiny Coach logo marking the spot of the fashion house's headquarters in Hudson Yards.

You'll always be able to find your way back home — or at least to Coach HQ.

“We really wanted to celebrate Coach’s legacy of craftsmanship, so the Soho features heritage codes such as a Coach storypatch, our signature “C” and detailed stitchwork and piping," continues Vevers. "I particularly love the sneaker charms from SS25. It’s another way to personalize the Soho sneaker and allows for a really fun way to express yourself.”

Yes, the soon-to-be classic sneaker is also the perfect canvas for "charm-maxxing." In fact, the various trinkets that topped the Soho sneaker during its runway debut in September were what got people talking about Coach's new signature shoe long before its release date was even mentioned.

Speaking of, the Soho sneaker will be available on Coach’s website February 13, and the drop will be accompanied by a series of NYC-inspired charms as well.
